Ladies & Gentleman, the first i’m grateful because i given chance by my english teacher and all of my friends to bring this speech this morning about global warming.
Well, as we know that global warming is such a disaster for our country and for our world that give a serious problem for our next human generation.
Global Warming is a reason why our world temperature is getting hot. Nowadays the temperature take about more than 30 degrees Celcius, and with that number of temperature the ice in South Pole and North Pole are getting melt, and in my opinion slow but sure that the ice in South Pole, North Pole and Greenland will be vanish, because of the ice melt processing, the sea level in our world getting higher, and the area in the world that still under the sea level will be troubled for flood. As a result, our world temperature is getting hot because of the use of cars emission and industry pollution that waft about in our earth atmosfer and make the ozone decreasing, so the sun light can break through the earth ozone and trapped in earth atmosfer until the earth become more hot than usual. There are a lot of bad impact for our world if we don’t stop the process of the global warming now. First, we will be lost much land and many area in the world that still under sea level will be troubled for flood. Many people will lost their home because no one want to live in a dangerous places. Second, the environment will be shattered, weather and climate in each places will be changed without permission. And the last is we will not breath with a fresh air again.
we should stop global warming as soon as possible, how to do that by reduce the use of cars emission and should find the new alternate energy that good for our environment.
Second, we should stop chop down the trees with big quantity, because the trees can reduce the pollution by released Carbon dioxide. Third, we should put the garbage in the right place, and do replanting the trees, every each house in the world must put one tree standing in their garden in case to reduce the pollution.
I’m at the end of my speech today, I do apologize if I said something wrong. So let’s keep our earth clean and safe! If not us who else? If not right now there is no future because time is never getting back. Thanks for your attention.
Contoh pidato tentang global warming berbahasa Inggris kedua
Global warming is one of the most serious challenges facing us today. To protect the health and economic well-being of current and future generations, we must reduce our emissions of heat-trapping gases by using the technology, know-how, and practical solutions already at our disposal.
Tropical deforestation is the largest source of emissions for many developing countries, but slowing deforestation can’t solve the climate problem by itself. As forest-rich developing countries step up to take responsibility for reducing their emissions, all industrialized nations should not only support their efforts but, most importantly, reduce their own emissions and lead efforts to avert dangerous climate change.
For years we have heard so much about the causes of climate change, that we’ve missed the fact that there are simple, practical solutions that can slow this growing problem. Technologies exist today that can cut emissions of heat-trapping gases and make a real difference in the health of our planet. And these solutions will be good for our economy, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and enhance our energy security.
Global warming doesn’t just mean balmy February days in northern climes. It also means increasingly hot days in the summer, and a host of negative impacts that are already under way and are expected to intensify in the
-More heat waves will likely increase the risk of heat-related illnesses and deaths.
-Cities and towns along the nation’s major rivers will experience more severe and frequent flooding.
-Some areas will likely experience more extensive and prolonged droughts.
-Some of our favorite coastal and low-lying vacation areas, such as parts of the Florida Keys and Cape Cod, will be much less appealing as sea levels rise, dunes erode, and the areas become more vulnerable to coastal storms.
-Many families and businesses, who have made their living from fishing, farming, and tourism could lose their livelihoods, and others who love hunting, boating, skiing, birdwatching, and just relaxing near lakes, streams, and wetlands will see some of their favorite places irretrievably changed.
The solutions to climate change are here and it’s time we put them to use. If we get started today we can tackle this problem and decrease the unpleasant outcomes that await us if we do nothing. The steps we need to take are common sense. And, more often than not, they will save consumers money. The cost of inaction, however, is unacceptably high.
The scientific consensus is in. Our planet is warming, and we are helping make it happen by adding more heat-trapping gases, primarily carbon dioxide (CO2), to the atmosphere. The burning of fossil fuel (oil, coal, and natural gas) alone accounts for about 75 percent of annual CO2 emissions from human activities. Deforestation—the cutting and burning of forests that trap and store carbon—accounts for about another 20 percent.
Procrastination is not an option. Scientists agree that if we wait 10, 20, or 50 years, the problem will be much more difficult to address and the consequences for us will be that much more serious.
We’re treating our atmosphere like we once did our rivers. We used to dump waste thoughtlessly into our waterways, believing that they were infinite in their capacity to hold rubbish. But when entire fisheries were poisoned and rivers began to catch fire, we realized what a horrible mistake that was.
Our atmosphere has limits too. CO2 remains in the atmosphere for about 100 years. The longer we keep polluting, the longer it will take to recover and the more irreversible damage will be done.
Fuel-efficient vehicles. Renewable energy. Protecting threatened forests. These common sense solutions won’t only reduce global warming, many will save us money and create new business opportunities.
Best of all, these solutions exist now. We just need to insist that business and government take the necessary steps to make them available and affordable. Then we have to let consumers know what to do and provide incentives to help all of us make better choices.
The following five sensible steps are available today and can have an enormous impact on the problem CO2 remains in the atmosphere for about 100 years. Sumber

Assalamu’alaikum wr. Wb.
Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen.
First, I would like to say thank you for my teacher, Mrs.Maya, who gave a time for me, so I can stand here.
My name is Firda, and here, I would to tell you about global warming.
Ladies and Gentleman,
Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of Earth’s atmosphere and oceans since the late 19th century and its projected continuation. Since the early 20th century, Earth’s mean surface temperature has increased by about 0.8 °C (1.4 °F), with about two-thirds of the increase occurring since 1980.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, and scientists are more than 90% certain that it is primarily caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases produced by human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. These findings are recognized by the national science academies of all major industrialized nations.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Global Warming is caused by many things. The causes are split up into two groups, man-made or anthropogenic causes, and natural causes. Natural causes are causes created by nature. One natural cause is a release of methane gas from arctic tundra and wetlands. Man-made causes probably do the most damage. There are many man-made causes. Pollution is one of the biggest man-made problems. Another major man-made cause of Global Warming is population. More people means more food, and more methods of transportation, right? That means more methane because there will be more burning of fossil fuels, and more agriculture.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Since CO2 contributes to global warming, the increase in population makes the problem worse because we breathe out CO2. Also, the trees that convert our CO2 to oxygen are being demolished because we’re using the land that we cut the trees down from as property for our homes and buildings. We are not replacing the trees (an important part of our eco system), so we are constantly taking advantage of our natural resources and giving nothing back in return.
Well, that’s all I know about global warming. Thank you very much for your attention.
Wassalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.
